Brilliant Books is a neighborhood book shop in Michigan that provides personalized book subscriptions to curious readers by mail. Readers of all ages are invited to dive head-first into different worlds, meet new characters and go on adventures with each new book. As a subscription service that aims to foster a sense of wonder, the visual identity embodies the magic of reading.
Unlike some book subscription services, Brilliant Books offers completely customized selections. An online survey establishes the reader’s preferences, which then guides Brilliant Books employees to find the perfect selection each month.
The logo features a hot air balloon with a book-shaped basket set amongst the stars to present Brilliant Books as a vehicle to transport readers to other worlds, even if only through their imagination.
